How to Use

Odorcide 210 is a safe, economical, and effective deodorizing product that leads to the complete elimination of odors.

ONE-TIME ODOR ELIMINATION

For carpet, locate the source of the odor (a blacklight or moisture probe may help identify urine deposits) and treat after vacuuming loose dirt and debris. Mix concentrate with water at a rate of 1:16 (8 oz per gallon) and saturate 50% beyond the actual spot area. For general carpet deodorizing, add Odorcide® directly to the cleaning extraction system, ensuring it penetrates to the odor source. Increase penetration by using a roller, hand manipulation, or by walking the product in.

ON-GOING ODOR ELIMINATION

Dilute with water or cleaning solution at a rate of ½ oz per gallon. Apply to common areas with mop, sponge, or trigger sprayer. Use higher dilution for more severe odor situations.

READY TO USE SPRAYER

On hard surfaces, point the bottle sprayer at the odor source and spray. Use enough product to thoroughly cover the odor source. Wipe or let air dry. On fabric, point the bottle sprayer at the odor source and spray. Use enough product to thoroughly cover or saturate the material. The product must come in contact with the odor source to be completely effective. Let air dry. On stains, rub the area thoroughly with a sponge or cloth saturated with the product. Blot with a clean cloth. Let air dry.

All Thornell products are safe for use on any surface. As with any product, follow the label directions. Contains water, proprietary essential oil blend, and preservatives.

Cautions

Effectiveness decreased when using with Chlorine solutions. Always spot test for colorfastness.

Both the Odorcide Original and Fresh Scent only eliminate odors. They do not clean, however, you can mix with them any soap or detergent you are using to clean.

I used Odorcide 210 in a sunroom. The owner says the Odorcide smell is strong and gives him headaches. This has been over a month. What can I do to reduce the smell of Odorcide now?

A:

To help dilute the smell of any Odorcide product, you can spray the area down with water. That will dilute it more and lessen the fragrance. Depending on how strong it is, it might take more then one application.

Is fresh scent’s cleaning ability less than original solution?

Odorcide Original and Fresh Scent will both eliminate odors equally. The only difference is the fragrance of the product.
